Planar geometry and easily replicable manufacturing techniques, limiting processes needed to produce. Stemming from polyethylene form explorations combining bent planes.

Designed as a soap dish, but primarily as an antithesis to the cyclical nature of modern product design. Fabricated using a band saw, metal lathe, and table saw.

    Designed in tandem with LC-7 lamp, array of poplar dowels fastened to bent aluminum sheets via threaded rods. Feet riveted to base. Fabricated using a metal lathe, vertical mill, break, and shear.

    LC-7 and design counterpart, PVA-09, are studies in the application of analog machining practices and metal joinery. Fabricated using band saw, shear, break, vertical mill, and lathe.

    Derivative of Donald Deskey’s work. Welded steel legs, leather upholstered body, foam armrests. A study in observation and reapplication of visual cues.

    An exploration of process, fabricated using quarter sawn walnut intersected by brass rod. Domino joinery for consistency, symmetry resonates with classical furniture, without ostentatious detail.

    Designed to draw circles ranging from diameters of 3 in to 32 in, solid aluminum beam, milled inlay for walnut veneer, all components machined by hand using vertical mill and metal lathe.
